Notte di Capodanno 2016. Óscar sta festeggiando in discoteca con Vero, la sua ex, pensando di avere ancora una possibilità con lei. Nello stesso locale lavora Ana, la cui vita stenta a prendere la direzione giusta. Per caso i due si incontrano in un bar e decidono di andare insieme ad una festa.

31 dicembre 2016. Ana si è unita alla cena di capodanno organizzata da Guille e Ali in montagna, ma non è da sola. Alla cena c'è anche Óscar che continua una tormentata relazione con Vero. Mentre aspettano il nuovo anno gli amici si intrattengono con un gioco che fa esplodere tensioni e gelosie.

Mattina del primo gennaio 2018, Óscar e Ana stanno insieme da dieci mesi e hanno festeggiato il Capodanno con una festa a casa di lei. Il loro piano per questa giornata è uno solo: passare la giornata insieme a letto. Ma il destino si frappone.

31 dicembre 2018. Óscar e Ana vivono insieme da sei mesi ma ad Ana è stato appena offerto un lavoro a Edimburgo e la verità è che le piacerebbe andare a vivere lì con Oscar. Stasera hanno invitato per il cenone Isabel e Fernando, genitori di Ana, e Carmen, madre di Oscar.

1 gennaio 2020. Ana e Óscar si sono regalati un viaggio a Berlino. Da qualche mese sono distanti e provano a ritrovarsi fuggendo insieme nella capitale tedesca e passando una notte movimentata in uno dei club techno più famosi della città.

Ana has been living in Madrid for six months. She’s met with Óscar a couple of times, always for a quick coffee, in a hurry. Today, they have the whole day to themselves

It’s the morning of December 31, 2024. Ana and Óscar are in a hotel in downtown Madrid. They believe they have come to a decision about them, about their relationship. But they still have 40 minutes to change their minds
